Abstract

Hanseatic League of Science (HALOS)
Hanseatic League of Science (HALOS) is a unique cross-border ÖKS interreg project with 15 official partner organizations including research institutes in Denmark, Sweden and Germany. Through HALOS the Life Science research and innovation ecosystems will get access to crossborder cooperation platforms where academia and industry can meet. Key stakeholders will be connected and through regional development an integrated research environment developing common strengths and initiate joint strategies for regional cooperation will be established. HALOS will contribute to establish the Hamburg-ÖKS region as a globally recognised hub of
world leading research and innovation in the Life Sciences around the large infrastructures MAX IV, ESS, DESY and European XFEL.
