Abstract
Epidemics and pandemics are associated with a variety of life-threatening conditions and have serious effects on physical as well as mental wellbeing. The Covid-19 pandemic raised the same difficulties for public and private sectors including schools, businesses, healthcare sectors, etc. The disease, which originated in Wuhan, China in December 2019, has ravaged nearly every country in the world. Healthcare staff had to work around the clock to save patients, putting themselves at great risk in the process. The widespread loss of jobs and income caused by the pandemic has left families vulnerable to social problems including domestic violence and poverty. This chapter discusses the impacts of Covid-19 on health care, education, lifestyle, economy, science, and so on.
