Abstract
This book chapter discusses intersectionality in relation to heteronormativity, and reminds readers of the non-white origins of intersectionality as a theoretical and political concept. The terms whiteness and heteronormativity are proposed as an excellent theoretical and political couple in contemporary scholarship.
