Abstract
Danish media have published sympathetic portraits of asylum seekers seeking special dispensation from the Danish immigration laws, typically the brilliant Syrian gymnasium student facing deportation because theri temporary permiet has expired. The immigration minister has said that 'No one will get asylum just because you have been on TV'. This article proposes a set of satirical dispensation pargraphs to the Danish asylum/immigration laws granting residence to those who pull the heartstrings of the minister or appear on TV.
