Abstract
This article investigates the dependence on standard contracts in Swedish construction law, particularly AB 04 and ABT 06, due to a lack of specialized laws. Comparing them to similar contracts from other Nordic countries demonstrates the value of cross-border legal understanding. A 2018 Swedish Supreme Court judgment highlights this technique, implying that comparative analysis might improve legal clarity and predictability in construction law throughout the Nordic area.
