Abstract
This report is based on 75 in length interviews with employees, both police and civilians, concerning their health, their work environment, leadership and organization. A scale was derived from the interviews and when used together with statistics on turn-over rates and sick leave absences formed a useful tool for police leadership to identify troublesome or potentially troublesome work environments and to develop methods to maintain a healthy work place.
