Abstract

Drawing on the notion of imagined futures, the special issue “Retail Imagination” explores emerging transformations in the retail sector. The special issue includes seven paper presented at the 9th Nordic Retail and Wholesale conference (NRWC) 2024. In this editorial, the concept of “Retail imagination” is discussed, the main content of the selected papers is outlined, and key dimensions for imagining the future of retail are emphasized.
