Abstract
Time Travel Tours was a performance built around a bus tour in Copenhagen, Helsingør and Odense in Denmark. It performed in the three cities over the summer of 2020, right after the first “Corona lock down”, presented by Teater Får302, Helsingør Theatre/Passage Festival and Teater Momentum.
Departing in the year 2049, a time machine in the shape of a bus, took the audience on a round trip back to 2020 and forward again. Along the way, stops were made at selected secret locations in the city, where the travelers experienced both wild and everyday imaginings of the future. In this way we took a playful and critical look at our contemporary times with the eyes of the future. And we let the urban space form a living framework for our take one time travel as fiction.
