Abstract

This study analyses seven sufficiency-oriented SMEs in the French fashion sector, categorizing their strategies into efficiency, shift and sufficiency. It reveals the tension in balancing sustainability with financial viability, highlighting the systemic challenges posed by consumer preference for fast fashion.
