Abstract
The situation for minorities in the Middle East in the midst of transformations are complicated. Not least after the so called Arab Uprisings. In this conference we focused on the situation for Christians in the Middle East. Scholars, journalists and activists from Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libanon and Palestine/Israel met in Lund for discussions and seminar during December 5-7. The conference was co-organized by Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University and the Research Council of the Church of Sweden.
