Abstract

TURBT is the initial diagnostic procedure in bladder cancer (BC). Hypothetically, tumor resection could induce seeding of cancer cells into the circulation and subsequent metastatic disease. The objective of this study was to ascertain whether TURBT induces measurable seeding of cancer cells into the vascular system.
