Abstract

We overview two approaches to the analysis of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes: selected code approach and ensemble approach. As examples of application of the methods we consider Gallager's homogeneous LDPC codes and Berrou-Glavieux-Thitimajshima (BGT) turbo-codes
