Title Youth perspectives on the Conflict in Yemen

Description The conflict in Yemen drove the country into the most sever human-made humanitarian crisis. According to the United Nations, more than two-thirds of the Yemeni population lives under the threat of hunger, and epidemics such as cholera and diphtheria continue to spread. Systematic violations of human rights are apparent in the actions of both internal and external warring parties exacerbating the human calamity in the country. This public panel brings together a group of Yemeni youth activists who will address the situation in Yemen from different perspectives and areas of expertise. The goal of the session is to depict the complexity of the situation in Yemen and the impact of the conflict on the humanitarian, political, economic, and cultural conditions. There were four participants: Abduljabbar Alsuhaili, Nabeil Albaidani, Shadi Alwan, and Lina Alhasani
