Research areas and keywords

UKÄ subject classification

  • Medical and Health Sciences

Type of infrastructure

  • Equipment

The IVIS Spectrum in vivo imaging system uses a novel imaging technology to facilitate non-invasive longitudinal monitoring of disease progression, cell trafficking and gene expression. In vivo bioluminescent and fluorescent signal sources can be detected in mice or rats. Imaging can be done longitudinally without killing animals.

Equipment and resources

IVIS spectrum imaging unit, anesthesia system and Living Image analytical software.

Services provided
