The Digital Archaeology Laboratory focused on the development of projects aimed at surveying and analyzing archaeological sites by means of 3D combined technologies. Our focus is to develop new digital acquisition and visualization strategies to increase the perception of the data retrieved in the process of archaeological investigation.

Equipment and resources

Currently the lab is equipped with digital cameras, UAVs (drones), an immersive system (oculus), several workstations and field computes. The lab invested in software for 3D image computing.

Digital and physical collections

The DARKLab is currently supporting several projects based at the institute of Archaeology and Ancient History at Lund University.
