Name of national/international infrastructure this infrastructure belongs toDiv. of Combustion Physics is part of the Lund Laser Centre (LLC), which is a European Major Research Infrastructure and a part of LASERLAB-Europe. Div. of Comb. Physics is also part of the national Centre CECOST.
DescriptionAmplified Nd:YAG ps-laser (produces pulses of 30/80 ps duration, 1064/532/355/266 nm wavelength, and 1100 mJ pulse energy (@1064 nm), at 10 Hz rep. rate). Two OPGs, pumped by the Nd:YAG, deliver ps-pulses ranging from 190 to 2300 nm.
Equipment and resourcesThe laboratory contains, in addition to the p s-laser system, optics, CCD cameras, spectrometers, MCP-PMT,and an ultrafast streak camera.
Services providedFacility to be used for measurements in the picosecond time regime, physical access and virtual access.
All data is generated, stored and transferred locally.
Management of the infrastructureThe laser system belongs to the Div. of Combustion Physics, which is headed by Prof. Marcus Aldén. Prof. Joakim Bood is responsible for system operation and maintenance.
