Description

The SAXSLAB instrument is set up to perform small or wide-angle X-ray scattering in transmission on freestanding solid samples, powders, liquids or gels. From this the shape, form and structure of nano sized materials can be determined.
The instrument is well suited to be used as a qualification step for measurements at MAXIV and ESS.

Equipment and resources

The instrument has temperature controlled (5-65 oC) holders for solid and liquid samples. The option to measure GISAXS is also possible.

Digital and physical collections

Documentation can be found on the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
