DescriptionStensoffa field station is situated 17 km east of Lund in the military training area Revingehed. The station is used as base station for biological field work in the nearby surroundings and for smaller indoor laboratory work or outdoor experiments at the station itself. The station is primarily used by researchers from the Department of Biology, but also by visiting researchers from other Swedish universities and from universities abroad. Outside of the field season (April to Sept), Stensoffa can be used for teaching, workshops, and meetings.
Equipment and resourcesThe following facilities are available to both local and visiting scientists:
-Two aviaries for songbirds
-Seminar room for teaching and workshops (max. 20 pers.)
-Indoor laboratory space
The station has two kitchens for self-catering and beds for up to 10 persons, primarily for researchers and students carrying out research at or in the surroundings of the station.

Terms of access:
Priority for access to research space is given to internal users from the Department of Biology. External users are booked on a first come first serve basis. Bookings of research space are made through Rachel Muheim, bookings of overnight stays and meetings through Cecilia Thomasson.
