We use molecular genetic techniques such as next-generation sequencing and SNP array analysis to identify and characterize acquired genetic aberrations in aneuploid malignancies, with a particular focus on high hyperdiploid and hypodiploid acute lymphoblastic leukemia and anaplastic thyroid cancer. Primary aim To understand how massive chromosomal gain and loss arise and affect cancer cells. Secondary aim To identify novel treatment-stratifying markers and new therapeutic targets in aneuploid malignancies.
