Description
Research and teaching in health care on the basis of "to strengthen or maintain their physical, mental and social well-being". Health promotion Nursing means to cure and relieve when the disease has already occurred. It also means to prevent disease and to strengthen people's ability to participate and to feel confidence in their own ability. Health promotion can thus be focused on the individual and the group, but also the social structure. For individuals, health promotion measures to help support the adaptation to a changed life situation with prolonged illness or disability. Some current research areas of the group are: • Develop and evaluate motivational interviewing • Various aspects of life after a bowel and / or ostomy surgery • Patients' self-care ability after outpatient surgery • Care Room significance from the patient and the nursing perspective • Follow-up and recovery after intensive care • Vital parameters and patient safety in somatic care
