Evaluation of the patients occurs mainly through muscle biopsi, sometimes with mutation diagnostica. The MH unit i Lund is a national centra. The reasech can be divided in 2 parts: Genetic: The aim of the research is to find more of the mutations responsible for MH in Scandinavia. In cooperation with prof Clemenz Muller Biozentrum Univeritetet Wurzburg Tyskland och Doc Ulf Kristoffersson dep of clinical genetic, Lund University Hospital Clinic and epidemiology: Epidemiological studies will be performed originating from our large patient material.
