Research

Amy Lutz is an Associate Professor of Sociology in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. She received her PhD in Sociology at the State University of New York at Albany. Her research interests include educational and racial-ethnic inequality and the experiences of children of immigrants in the United States and Europe. She is currently working on a book project with Dalia Abdelhady about the experiences of children of immigrants in the United States and Europe. This project focuses three key groups: Mexicans in the United States, North Africans in France, and Turks in Germany.
