Anders Hallbäck is course director for the Singer/Songwriter course at the Malmö Academy Of Music. Anders is also a teacher in music production, recording, live sound and ensemble playing. He has a broad musical background that spans all genres. He began his musical education at the music school in Skövde and then continued to study music at Ljungskile Folkhögskola. Anders continued his music studies in the music teacher programme at the Malmö Academy of Music with a focus on instrumental and ensemble with the electric guitar as the main instrument. Anders also studied music production at the Music Academy for two years. In 2008 Anders began teaching at the Academy and was employed as a lecturer in the autumn of 2010. Anders has extensive teaching experience. He has has except for the Academy also worked at Kulturskolan in Skurup, at the Musik- och kulturskolan in Hässleholm, been a guest lecturer at Linné University and teaches private students the guitar, bass and recording. He has been involved in many different musical contexts. Anders was a member of the platinum-selling rock band Royal Republic, where he appeared as a bassist, songwriter and producer on the debut album "We Are The Royal '. As a music producer / recording engineer, he has worked with everything from Eurovision song "Do not Try To Stop Me," which was performed by Laila Adele to the classicall Christmas album "Make The Yuletide Gay" with Rickard Söderberg. He has made recordings for SVT, Skånska Operan and the Malmö Opera Orchestra and Malmö Symphony Orchestra. In addition to recordings, Anders has been a live sound engineer in various contexts, including the A cappella group Vocal Six during their tours in the United States, Taiwan, and Europe. Nowadays, he is also engaged as a sound engineer at the concerts at the Academy of Music. Anders Hallbäck has participated as a composer in Royal Republics album "We Are The Royal ', in Melodifestivalen, in Magnus Carlsson's album" Happy Holidays "with the song "Snow Song" as well as on several of Rickard Söderberg releases, including the EP ”Tack”. Anders has also written songs for various music publishers and participated in publications with several foreign artists. Anders Hallbäck has in recent years broadened his musicianship further to include folk music. He then plays the guitar and mandola in the folk trio group Magnus Rydlöv Trio together with Magnus Rydlöv and Olof Göthlin.
