Charlotta Turner's research is about analytical chemistry for a sustainable development. Turner's research group "the Green Technology Group" investigates the fundamental properties of green solvents, eg. supercritical carbon dioxide, subcritical water and carbon dioxide-expanded liquids, for use in extraction and separation methods. Research projects often deal with the extraction and analysis of valuable substances in residual products from the food, forest, agricultural and marine industries.
