Research
My ambition is to pursue theoretically informed empirical analyses of contemporary social issues. I rely heavily on survey-based data collection and quantitative methods, primarily applied to the study of social networks. My research interests span from methodological debates to analyses of network constraints and opportunities of organisations, firms, and individuals.
I am currently leading one larger research collaboration on violent extremism and anti-social careers, funded by the Swedish Civil Contingenies Agency and based at the Institute for Futures Studies.
