I am a PhD student at Innovation Engineering, Faculty of Engineering LTH, Lund University. I hold a B.Sc. in Design and Product Realisation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a M.Sc. in Industrial Management, with specialization in sustainable product innovation.

After my studies I participated in a research program as an innovation pilot at Findus with the goal to investigate how the organization’s innovation capabilities could be improved. Thereafter I worked for five years at the brand and innovation agency PwC Experience Center in Stockholm. My role was focused on innovation management and strategy and I worked with companies from various industries on projects e.g. aiming to define innovation strategies and roadmaps, to identify opportunity areas for innovation and to develop concepts.

My PhD project is focused on waste management with the aim to research how circular economy can be stimulated in this field, which is associated with vast sustainability challenges. In particular, Internet of Things (IoT) and circular business models are investigated as potential enablers for improving waste management in sustainable and smart cities.
