Research

The main focus of my research is on the economic impacts of globalization, including a broad range of aspects in international trade and investments. A common factor in much of this work is a focus on the role of multinational companies, and on home and host country effects of foreign direct investments. Special attention is also given to economic effects of the increased importance of East Asia, as a host of multinational companies.

Teaching

My main areas of teaching is international economics and development economics
