Gregor Rudolph

Doctoral Student, M.Sc., B.Sc.

Research areas and keywords

  • Membrane fouling, Biorefinery, Membrane technology, Real-time monitoring

Gregor gained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2015. He specialized in Biochemical Engineering and has a background in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc). His master thesis was about extraction of value compounds from tomato plants.  During his bachelor studies he spend one semester abroad at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. In 2015 he started to work as project assistant in the membrane group of Ann-Sofi Jönsson. Since January 2016 he is a doctoral student at the Chemical Engineering at Lund University. His main focus is on membrane processes in biorefineries. There he examines fouling and cleaning of membrane with sophisticated in situ methods with the aim of developing tailored cleaning protocols.
