Research

I was born in France, but I have been living in Sweden since 1985. I am a professor of Business Administration at the Department of Service Management, Campus Helsingborg, Lund University.

My fields of research and teaching are organization theory, and I have been working for a long time with infrastructure issues (e.g., public libraries development, railroad planning, wind power siting, risk in public transportation, waste management). In particular, I have been heading research projects on Waste Management (e.g., From waste management to waste prevention (FORMAS); Organizing Critical Infrastructure Services-The case of waste management (VINNOVA)). Currently, I am on two research projects: Relationships within circular business models, with Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics (USBE) and Örebro University (Formas), and Circular North Sea Region: Improving Governance for the Circular Economy, with the City of Helsingborg and an international consortium of Regions, Universities and Consultancies.

I proceed most often, but not exclusively, through the analysis of texts and discourses, with special preference for inscription, narrative and argumentation analysis.
