I am a PhD student at the Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics at Lund University. My supervisors are: Senior Lecturer Thomas Bensby and Professor Sofia Feltzing.

The aim of my research is to understand the structure and formation of the Milky Way using a combination of spectroscopic and kinematic approaches. Now I am focused on the detection of stellar overdensities in the velocity distributions using different techniques like wavelet transform with the Gaia TGAS and RAVE DR5 / LAMOST. New significant stellar groups will be further investigated with high-resolution spectroscopy.
