Isabel Bramsen’s current research focuses on agonistic peace and national dialogue in Colombia and the Philippine peace talks. She has done research on Nordic cooperation on peace and conflict resolution as well as on Women Peace and Security. Her PhD was about the micro-sociology of violence and nonviolence in the Arab Spring in Tunisia, Syria and Bahrain. Isabel Bramsen is a member of Nordic Women Mediators and co-other of, International Konfliktløsning (Samfundslitteratur 2016) and co-editor of the anthology, Addressing International Conflict: Dynamics of Escalation, Continuation and Transformation (Routledge 2019).
