Jens is a full Professor in Machine Elements at Lund University (LTH). His research is mainly focused on the tribology performance and airborne emissions from machine elements in road and rail vehicles. He has designed and applied both experimental and simulation approaches in his research. Jens is the first European Ph.D. in airborne wear emissions from disc brakes and he presented his thesis “A study of airborne wear particles from automotive disc brakes” in 2011 at KTH. In 2017 he become a docent in product developed with specialisation in machine elements at KTH. Jens has been working in several European research projects.
