Joeri Kok joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering April 2017 as a doctoral student. He conducts his research in the Biomechanics group. His research focusses primarily on the mechanics underlying femoral fractures. With the use of detailed numerical models, he hopes to improve current predictions of fracture risk and prophylactic interventions. His doctoral studies are supervised by Dr. Hanna Isaksson and Dr. Lorenzo Grassi.
