Studies urban hydrological processes, especially during extreme rainfall events. In my doctoral thesis, I studied the consequences of pluvial flooding in Malmö. One of my core interests is to study blue-green infrastructure (sustainable urban drainage systems) and their function during different rainfall scenarios.

I give lectures and sometimes exercises on urban hydrology, blue-green infrastructure, and urban flooding, both internally and externally. Usually I supervise 2–3 master's thesis projects, often in cooperation with interested companies and water utilities.
