Neuronal basis of hygrosensation

I am interested in the neuronal control of behaviour and how different behaviours adapt to changes in the environment. I received my PhD in 2018 from Göttingen University, working on the influence of visual cues on a series of stereotypic behaviours of Drosophila melanogaster. I was able to identify several behavioural adaptations to a lack of visual cues and the emergence of new strategies.

In early 2019 I joined the lab of Anders Enjin at Lund University where we aim to understand the neuronal basis of hygrosensation using behavioural, molecular and imaging techniques.
