I graduated as an occupational therapist in Lund in 2000, and have been working as an occupational therapist in the municipality, but also been employed at the Neuropsychiatric Clinic, SUS. I began my employment at Lund University as a project administrator in 2010 and was accepted as a graduate student in 2012.

With my thesis "Aspects of housing and health when ageing with a spinal cord injury", I hope to increase the knowledge of what impact the environment has on activity, participation and health when ageing with a spinal cord injury. Main supervisor is Professor Susanne Iwarsson, assistant supervisors are Associate Professor Mary Haak and Research Engineer Björn Slaug.

The thesis will be based on data from the project "Swedish Ageing with a Spinal Cord Injury Study" (SASCIS) (PI: Jan Lexell), where another PhD student (Sophie Jorgensen) is studying other aspects of ageing with a spinal cord injury. My dissertation project and  SASCIS are part of the research programme "Housing and Health along the Process of Ageing " (PI: Susanne Iwarsson).
