My main areas of teaching are software architecture and quality where I extensively make use of  architecturel issues, web development and J2EE solutions. I also teach databases at advanced level where I contribute at conceptual level and the development of object databases.

Has updated Java course to Java 9. Updated Visual Paradigm modeling tool. Updated the labs as well as integrated Visual Paradigm to the new version of Eclipse. Updated the Java course with modelling (from conceptual to implementation model).

 

Further developed T4 for integration with the EJB2 standard and added new material (Lessons & Labs) regarding JavaScript and JSON programming. Updated course for new versions of Java as well as development tools.

 

Have together with Erdogan Ucan continued planned and implemented the entire technical term (T4). We have a case-oriented education. Also updated the whole practical bit on ERP system on T3, which we also use on T4.

 

 

 

8. Briefly describe your work with IT-supported teaching and learning 

Uses on-line feedback tool GLISSER during lectures, where students can ask questions anonymously about the course content.

Use of On-Line such as video clips etc. on solutions and books.

 

We use IT constantly because I teach in software development and IT architecture plus Navision and SAP (ERP Practice). Of course, all our material and much of our communication is available through Live@Lund, such as discussion forums, courses to courses, links to information, group assignment, booking etc.

I am currently working with translation of a future course book.

Professional work

The structural areas of information technology, such as system and database architecture are those that capture my interest. Education and teaching, using current standards and practices, is what I find interesting and challenging. An important factor in my teaching is my long experience as consultant and advisor at various IT companies.
