I am currently working on questions related to responsibility for collective harm problems, that is cases where it seems that no one makes a difference for the outcome, but when enough agents act in a certain way, there are problematic consequences. I am particularly interested in responsibility for harms that is not the result of a collective act, such as global warming, overfishing and injustices in the global garment industry. Philisophers I currently take a special interest in include but is not limited to Iris Marion Young, Margaret Gilbert, Christopher Kutz, Shelly Kagan, Julia Nefsky and John Broome. I have also taken an interest in Derek Parfit's work On What Matters (2011), especially in the relation between the metaethical view and the moral principles Parfit advocates in this work.
Since spring 2017 I have taught the philosophy of religion, which constitutes one part of the course "Philosophy of religion and Aesthetics". This course is part of the first semester of studies in Practical Philosophy. Since spring 2019, I am one of the teachers in the course "Classical works in ethics", which is part of the second semester of studies in Practical Philosophy. Here, I teach the philosophy of Mary Wollstoncecraft. During fall 2017, I taught a theme course namned "Collective action and responsibility", also in Practical Philosophy (semester 2 and 3).
I have been the chair of the doctoral seminar at the department of philosophy, Lund University, since 2018. I am also treasurer of the philosophical society, Lund, and have been so since 2016. In addition, I am the doctoral representative at the board of the Deparment of Philosophy and at the research board at the HT faculty (the joint factulties of Humanties and Theology). Previously, I have also been the doctoral representative in the board of 3rd cycle studies at the HT faculty (2016-2019). Finally, I review papers for the journal Hypatia.
