Misagh is an architect and urban designer. After being graduated from the Master of Science in Architectural Engineering in Iran, she has continued her education by studying a second master program in Sustainable Urban Design at Lund University of Sweden.  As a research engineer, she has worked on several research projects regarding urban design perspective on water-related environmental challenges from 2013-2015. Since Feb 2016, she is an industrial PhD student at Lund University, employed by VA SYD / Sweden Water Research. She is doing her PhD at LTH between the department of Water and environmental engineering and the department of Architecture and Built Environment. Her research focus is on how blue-green flooding techniques affect the quality of urban environments in relation to urban life.
