I work with research data for the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Research and Research Infrastructure. My work spans policy and strategic aspects, as well as infrastructure and implementation aspects. I represent Lund University in the steering group of SND, Swedish National Data Service).
I study scientific collaboration, often with a socio-technical approach, meaning that I study how people, organisations and technology affect each other. This entails investigating how people collaborate and share resoruces (e.g. research data), and how these practices can be supported by tools, policies and strategies. I have a particularly strong interest in studying how interdisciplinary research endeavours can reach success and reach a common goal. One of the challenges in interdisciplinary research endeavours is reaching a common understanding within a group regarding the group members' scientific approaches (epistemological, ontological, methodological etc.) and terminology (the terms "operation" and "model" have different meanings depending on the discipline).
