My research is within theoretical particle physics and, in particular, I am interested in low energy precision calculations which allow for tests of the Standard Model of particle physics. At low energies the commonly used calculational tools do not work, and one instead has to rely on effective field theories and lattice simulations. I do higher order loop calculations using effective field theory techniques, and several of these calculations can be used for doing precision tests with the lattice. Two subjects of interest concern the muon anomalous magnetic moment and kaon decays.


I teach on the courses Introduction to Quantum Field Theory (FYTN10), Theoretical Particle Physics (FYTN04), Computational Physics (FYTN03) and Electromagnetism (FYTB13).
