I am a professor of Environmental and Energy Systems Studies and I have a background in agricultural and forestry sciences. I have 25 years of experience in the field of multi-disciplinary systems studies of biomass-based energy and production systems and my research focus on sustainability performance of existing and emerging biomass-based systems from a life cycle perspective, including environmental, carbon footprint, resource and energy efficiency, and cost performance. My research also include biomass potential assessments and policy studies.
