Dr Paul Miller is trained as a physicist and works as an ecosystem and a climate modeller at the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science at Lund University.

He is currently Coordinator of the Strategic Research Area MERGE (www.merge.lu.se) and is affiliated to the Centre for Environmental and Climate Research (www.cec.lu.se).

His research concerns terrestrial (land) ecosystem and carbon cycle modelling and the interactions of the land surface with climate. He has a particular focus on the further development of global climate and earth system models.
