Current research and teaching
Paul Graham Raven studies the narrative rhetorics of sociotechnical and climate imaginaries. His doctoral thesis proposed a novel model of sociotechnical change based on social practice theory, and a narrative prototyping methodology for infrastructure foresight. Currently working across a variety of projects at LU, in October 2020 he will begin a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship, developing and implementing a radical new methodology for the co-design of situated community climate futures with a focus on the Skåne region.
A technology critic and science fiction writer turned scholar of sociotechnical transformation and climate futures.
