Research

Pierre Moreau is a Ph.D. student in computer graphics at the Lund University Graphics Group, under the supervision of Michael Doggett. He received a B.Sc. from the University of Rennes 1, France and an M.Sc. from the University of Bordeaux, France, both in computer science. His master thesis was performed at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, under the supervision of Erik Sintorn and Ulf Assarsson.

His research focuses on real-time photorealistic rendering using ray tracing techniques like path tracing or photon splatting. Along with the rendering algorithms, he is keen on studying the hardware and its interaction with software via their drivers.
