3. Examiner of theses (including theses completed by Feb-19):

Undergraduate level (number of theses 2018):

Master level (number of theses 2018):

In practice, I have been assisting in the examination of a few theses. Since this occurs when the examiner asks for my advice in my role as Study Director, it is not formally registered as being the examiner of the theses in question.

Even if I am not formally a part of the committee responsible for the examination of theses, in practice I am the chairman of the meetings of the committee. Also, I am in charge of the guidelines for the examination process and for the framework for the feedback given to the students as a part of the examination process.

4. Briefly describe development work in education – renewal of curriculum and/or pedagogical development:

In my role as Study Director, I have initiated and participated in various activities regarding the renewal and development of the teaching at the department and I regularly acted as a discussant when individual teachers propose or think about renewal and development. Here, I assume it is not necessary with a more detailed specification.

5. Involvement of guest teachers:

- Course name: Makroekonomisk teori och ekonomisk politik

- Course code: NEKA12

- Name of guest teacher and company/organization: Magnus Lindskog (Riksbanken), two guest lectures, one in Spring and one in Autumn

6. Programme responsibility (name of programme)

I am a member of the steering group for Ekonomie kandidatprogrammet, Politices kandidatprogrammet, PPE-programme and the Bachelor Programme in International Business.  For the Master programme in Economics, we do not have a formal steering group but I am involved in all the work that normally would have been undertaken by the steering group.

7. Additional work in education (e.g. planning, implementation, and pedagogical leadership)

I am Study Director of the department and carry out all the tasks associated with this role. I assume it is not necessary with a more detailed specification-

8. Briefly describe your work with IT-supported teaching and learning

I use Live as a platform to provide the students with the material and the information they need to follow a course. In principle, all the material is available in Live at the start of the course since I plan ahead and think through the whole course in advance. In the Autumn term, I have started using Peergrade for a couple of assignments.

9. Production of cases, publications on teaching and learning, teaching materials and textbooks

For all courses I am involved in, I go through, update and overhaul all the material including Power Point slides, exercises, assignments and any other material, before the start of course.
