Research

In my research, I take an ethnographic approach to analysing health policy, particuarly at a global level. 

My current project focusses on Sweden's relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO). I have also carried out research on violence again health care in humanitarian crises. My PhD is in social anthropology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Teaching

I teach on the courses Introduction to Scandinavian Culture and Society and Cultural Perspectives on Health, Lifestyle and Medicine.  I also teach and supervise students on the Master's of Applied Cultural Analysis
