My research is primarily in the field of empirical corporate finance. I am particularly interested in the structure of board of directors, corporate governance, social networks, corporate control and sustainability.


I have been responsible for the development and teaching of courses both a the graduate and undergraduate levels. At the graduate level, I teach the courses Designing Finance and Empirical Accounting and Corporate Finance. At the undergraduate level I teach courses in corporate finance. I also supervise several master theses in corporate finance with and empirical focus.

During my time at Wesleyan University and Gothenburg University, I have taught a variety of courses in econometrics, statistics and finance.
