Research

I am a PhD student in Stem Cell Biology in the Developmental and Regenerative Neurobiology group at Lund University.

My current research objectives are focused on: 

- cellular reprogramming, e.g. human fibroblasts into dopaminergic neurons 
- cell transplantation as a therapeutic strategy for Parkinson’s disease 
- the use of biomaterials to improve cell transplantation 
- developing clinically relevant models of Parkinson's disease
