I graduated with a Bachelor degree in nursing in 2005 and have since worked as a nurse at Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Respiratory Diseases Department and Gastrointestinal Emergency Department at Hvidovre Hospital in Denmark. Here I acquired extensive knowledge, skills in providing nursing care and treatment to patients with acute and complex admissions. In 2012 I graduated Master in Health Science at the University of Copenhagen, and have since worked as a research assistant in various research units, at the University of Copenhagen.
In 2013 I was employed at Herlev Hospital at the Medical Department O where I was offered the position as PhD student at Lund University. In the PhD project I will focus on evidence–based clinical pathway in care of older patients hospitalized with community acquired pneumonia and the implementation process will be an object of research.
